From June 12 to 14, 2025, Tuzla hosted the 10th International Choir Championship “Lege Artis” Tuzla, one of the most important vocal competitions in this part of Europe. This prestigious event, which grows in quality and importance year after year, brought together more than 700 singers from five countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Bulgaria, Slovenia and North Macedonia.

10 choir ensembles performed in the exhibition section and 17 ensembles in the competition program, divided into six categories, while the expert jury monitored each performance with high professional criteria. In addition to the competition, the event provided a space for meeting, exchanging experiences and affirming choral art as a bridge between cultures and generations.

The 10th Anniversary of the Choir Championship “Lege Artis” Tuzla 2025 also marks a decade of dedicated work in the promotion of choral art, international networking and education of young people and adults through music. The festival has become a recognizable name among choirs in Europe, and Tuzla – a symbol of openness, art and the meeting of cultures.

The organization of the festival is signed by the Lege Artis Tuzla Association and co-production of the Bosnian Cultural Center of Tuzla with the general patronage of the City of Tuzla, media patronage of RTV TK, as well as the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of Tuzla, the Tourist Board of Tuzla, BH Telefom and other sponsors.

The choirs brought home awards from Tuzla, but also – more importantly – unforgettable memories, new friendships and motivation for further work and creation.

Next edition XI International Choir Championship “Lege Artis” Tuzla 2026 will be held from 21-24., May 2026.
